THE NEW YORK TIMES BOOK REVIEW...

We have just been informed that 'A Quiet Belief In Angels' will be reviewed in the New York Times on the 6th of September. Not only is it an honour to be reviewed in such an influential and august publication, it is also slightly scary...

Hey, how cool is that! Imagine sitting in your favourite NY bar, drinking a coffee and reading the paper on the 6th and you come across the review!

But, then again, there's no guarantee that it will be a good review! I await the verdict on eggshells...

Hey, they can't be that smart if an august publication reviews a book published in September....

Fingers crossed mate. You deserve the world.

I had to double-take then, thinking 'You know he's right!', and then I got it. Slow day for me. You know what John Wayne said, right? Something like 'Life is tough. If you're stupid it's tougher'. I was having one of those moments. Made me laugh out loud at myself, which is always good.
Thanks for your good wishes Russell. It means a great deal.

Sharman,
Thank you for your very kind words and thoughts. Much appreciated. So pleased that you enjoyed AQBIA.

Roger - I noticed that for some reason I had not posted my review of AQBIA on the Amazon.com site (i.e. in the USA) so that has today been rectified. Please forgive this shameful oversight.
