A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE...

A very short note - for anyone who might be interested - regarding the new book for September. After a considerable back-and-forth we have concluded that we are sticking with the second title considered. Though it's working title was SACRED MONSTER (a reference made in the book that both my agent and I picked up on, and thenceforth it became a bit of an in-joke), the new book is going to print with the title:
A SIMPLE ACT OF VIOLENCE
I hope you like it...
Speak soon.

Hi Roger,

The title of the new book sounds great, and very suspenseful!

It keeps in with your bibliography, A Quiet Vendetta, A Quiet Belief in Angels etc...

Waiting for September!

Adam

Thank you for your good wishes Cathrine...and by the way, did you know that A Quiet belief In Angels is currently being translated into Norwegian?
Take care,

Good News on the new book. Im reading Ghostheart (so good that im sneaking a read in the office when it is quiet!) and was concerned that I only have Candlemoth to read after this. Roll on September.

Best wishes
Fran

I know, I know, I know...if there was some way to do it I'd publish two a year! Glad to hear you are enjoying Ghostheart. I wrote that book and sent it to an assistant editor at my publishing company, and said 'Read this, and if you feel I've been completely patronising about how a single thirty-year old woman thinks and feels about life, then let me know on the quiet and I won't submit it to my editor...', but she really liked it, and it's the book I actually got the most e-mails about before Quiet Belief. You'll have to let me know what you think when you're done. Take care, and best wishes as always. Roger.
