I love the opening to the page, very cinematic, lush and poetic...I hope the movie works out the same.

I hope so too! 'Lush' is such a good word!
Lush is defo one of my favourite words, I also like canker. It's a lovely, meaty word to get your mouth around.
But 'canker' is like a weird ear infection that animals get, or something innit?
As far as I know it's anything that is unhealthy. Funnily enough it's also the Dutch word for cancer. But the reason I love it is because of the way it feels when you say it, it's a real teeth and tongue words. There's something really meaty about it. For me it's a good word. I also like cheese as word espeacialy when refering to something as being "cheesey". It's a great insult.
'Espeacialy'? Is that like Spanish for 'Especially'?
Anyway, here's the thing - take any word in the English language, and say it over and over again, and it sounds insane. It stops sounding like a real word, and you sound like crazy person.
