But you know how it goes - you keep some and lose others.
Glad to hear you liked AQBIA and I hope you enjoy Vendetta. I hope you had a great New Year and that 2009 brings you everything you deserve!
Speak soon.R J Elloryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09438870435444248710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31456518.post-34978879225417209802009-01-03T20:50:00.000+00:002009-01-03T20:50:00.000+00:00A belated response to your post Roger, to say that...A belated response to your post Roger, to say that I hope your family Christmas was everything you wished it to be (I'm right with you on "A Wonderful Life"!)

I see from your post that the title of the 2011 (or will it be 2010?) book has lost its Gotham City connection - we've emailed about the original title, which I loved. What a great shame it's changed, I'm sure there are valid reasons!

I've just finished "A Quiet Belief in Angels", I thought I'd buck the trend and make it the fourth novel of yours I read, not the first! I was bowled over by it and like the others, its humans are still with me. "A Quiet Vendetta" was under my Christmas tree, so I'll be reviewing them both before too long.

All the very best for what looks like a very busy 2009, and enjoy that trip to Washington!Jan Birdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09975628107641748639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31456518.post-90618887778754813702008-12-25T12:00:00.000+00:002008-12-25T12:00:00.000+00:00Well, enormous best wishes to all of you - Mand, B...Well, enormous best wishes to all of you - Mand, Brian, Debbie and One-Eyed Jack! Thank you for your kindness, your generosity of spirit, and your tremendous support and encouragement over the past twelve months. The only thing that makes this worthwhile is the words of support that come every once in a while, and you are the most important and the most special people I have had the pleasure of 'meeting' through this work! So have a great New Year, and I trust that 2009 will bring you everything you so richly deserve!
Take care my friends, and we'll speak soon.
Roger.R J Elloryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09438870435444248710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31456518.post-47482164342892219802008-12-24T23:44:00.000+00:002008-12-24T23:44:00.000+00:00Thanks for doing what you do, and doing it so exce...Thanks for doing what you do, and doing it so exceptionally well. Yours is a unique talent in the modern era. Just knowing that there is more to come, when what's already done should be enough for a lifetime, gives me at least some reason for optimism in an otherwise bleak new world. Best wishes for 2009, and I share the celebration of the reunion with your brother as I have only yesterday enjoyed a similar pleasure after a long estrangement myself. Love is such a precious thing, we should never let it go.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05281893961666323147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31456518.post-79799849678511623962008-12-23T19:20:00.000+00:002008-12-23T19:20:00.000+00:00Merry Xmas to you and yours Roger!Merry Xmas to you and yours Roger!Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10168140037097992665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31456518.post-16053741404678125872008-12-23T17:09:00.000+00:002008-12-23T17:09:00.000+00:00Wishing you a wonderful christmas and new year, It...Wishing you a wonderful christmas and new year, It has been a pleasure to have discovered your books and they have kept me awake long into the nights on many occasions this year. Looking at your plans for the future I am amazed at the amount of words you must put to paper in a year, long may this prolific streak continue.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00606112146089947449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31456518.post-16093919871760345762008-12-23T15:59:00.000+00:002008-12-23T15:59:00.000+00:00Merry X! 80)Merry X! 80)mandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02500649483319298830noreply@blogger.com
